January 1997 the Lord told Archie and Tracy Walker that they were called to Pastor and gave them the name of the Ministry; "Excellent Covenant". In February 1997, while at Jesus World Outreach Center, the Lord spoke through Apostle Elisah Lawson confirming God's divine appointment of the Walker's to Pastoralship. Not knowing how, when, or where, the Walker's spent the following two years supporting several other ministries in Germany. In October 1998, during a field exercise in Grafenwohr, Germany, the Lord spoke to Pastor Archie Walker and gave him the vision for Excellent Covenant Ministries, confirming once again that the ministry would be founded in Baumholder, Germany. Pastor Archie wrote the vision on a napkin, just as the Lord gave it to him. In November of 1998, Pastor Archie and Tracy began Excellent Covenant Discipleship Bible Study on post in the HHB Divarty Chaplin's Office, Baumholder, Germany. Following the unction of the Spirit, Pastors Archie and Tracy began looking for a building to begin fulfilling their divine appointment. On June 6, 1999 Excellent Covenant Ministries opened their doors and held their first worship service. The Lord led Pastors Archie and Tracy to come under the Apostolic covering of Apostles Elisah and Phyllis Lawson, who installed them as Pastors on September 5, 1999.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was crucified, dead and buried. On the third day He arose from the dead and ascended into heaven where He is now seated at the right-hand of God the Father until His enemies become His footstool.

We believe in the rapture, that the dead in Christ will rise first and that those that are alive and remain shall be caught up to meet Jesus in the air.

We believe that after death eternal, we will all be judged according to our deeds on earth. We believe that eternal life begins either in heaven or in hell. Where ones spends eternity is based on their decisions to live according to God's words and commandments or to rebel and deny His words and commandments.

    

We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

We believe in the infallibility of the scriptures. We believe the Bible is the written Word of God, inspired by God. We believe that faith is the Word of God in action.

We believe in divine healing and that Jesus is the Healer. By the stripes Jesus took on Calvary we are healed!

We believe in tithing and bringing offering unto the Lord, by way of your local assembly. We also believe in giving to and caring for the poor, sick, homeless, and etc.

We believe in water baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the name of Jesus and the authority invested in His name.
